Katy Perry Talks Russell Brand, "California Gurls" Parodies and Britney Spears' Teeth on YouTube

No question is too insignificant for Katy Perry to answer, as she proved in a YouTube interview posted Tuesday. The Q&A-type session came two and a half weeks after she asked fans to send in their questions about her music, her quirks, or whatever else came to mind. In the YouTube clip, Katy spends a half-hour replying to a fraction of the 20-thousand-plus questions submitted to her.

One of the topics of discussion was her engagement to comedian and actor Russell Brand. She said they're excited to get married, and she’s confident Brand will be a wonderful father one day. She said, “I think, in marriage, when you're picking a partner, that is one of the things to keep in mind, is would they be a good baby daddy? And he'll be perfect.”

Katy also acknowledged the many parodies of “California Gurls” posted online, saying she’s flattered by them and hopes to see more parodies of her music in the future. She said, “I think if people are making parodies of your songs, you've made it.”

The conversation frequently turned silly, with Katy proclaiming that her boobs are real and that she brushes her teeth all the time because she wants them to be as white as Britney Spears' teeth. She also mentioned that if she had to kiss a girl, she’d choose actress Natalie Portman, and she “probably” would not pose for Playboy, if asked.
